It shows a "little village" in the truest sense of the word. One sees Grinzing, a little bit of Perchtoldsdorf, small alleys, dreamy vintners' houses "....rings around.....the looks look.....trouble-free, oh bliss." 
Like Schubert in his composition, this painting tries to capture these moods in its orange tones and iridescent background blue.
